The best rodent pet to own?

What do you think is the best rodent pet? Any at all, I'm not nescessarily going to get any, already got about 20 mice and 3 hamsters lol.The best rodent pet to own?
rats by miles :)The best rodent pet to own?
Guinea pig! Lovable, calm, gentle, just a few thing to describe this cute pet.

Its also much easier to keep a guinea pig's cage clean and fresh smelling compared to a mouse or hamster.

Rabbits! I love mine, he is the sweetest little cuttie, he's friendy, adorible and calm. There cages are a bit harder to keep clean then a guinea pigs though.

Or if your more into a pet that wont just sit in your lap then a rat. They are intelligent, friendly and might give you more affection then other rodents if you handle them enough.

I wouldn’t say my favorite rodent was a hamster but there not bad. They tend to be a ittle more crazy then a rat and I've found there cage smells a bit more but then can learn to be calm. If I were to recommend one it would be a golden hamster or a teddy bear hamster, also I've found males to be more affectionate.

And then there’s the gerbil, jumpy, frisky, free spirited. I've only had one but she was a real handful, however I did get her when she was a bit older because I adopted her, so who knows, maybe if you got a young one then raised it, it would be more calm.

But Always try to adopt or get animals from breeders first, pet stores are often bad luck for many animals.
RATS! Ive tried guinea pigs, mice, hamsters, and rabbits. Rats are defenitley the best. They are extremely smart, you can train them. What i really like most was that they would want to play with you. They are also extremely affectionate, not saying that other rodents arent, but i could tell there was much more of a stronger connection between my rats than any of the other previous rodents.
RAT!

Rats are VERY intelligent and will can develop a closer relationship with you than say a hamster or gerbil.

They can learn their names and respond to you C:

My complaints about hamsters when compared to rats:

Hamsters are very cute and awesome pets as well, but you just can't have the level of relationship that you do with a rat. They tend to need to be constantly moving or eating, whereas a rat may develop a relationship with you, learn tricks, and even come sit next to you calmly.

Also, there tends to be a common belief that rats are ';gross- disease carriers'; but in fact my rat is much cleaner than my hamster C:
Rats, hands down, no contest!

They're extremely intelligent, sweet, and actually ENJOY interacting with people, unlike many other small animals. They love to play, you can think up lots of new games for them and they love to ride on your shoulder or just hang out and watch TV! :]
For a rodent pet, personally I like hamsters. If they are socialized properly, they can be nice and tame. And hamsters are natually playful and curious. In addition, I think they are cuter than some other rodents such as rats and gerbils, in part because they have shorter tails.
rat ! ratrat. i have had mice rats and hamsters.. and i like rats the best. they are sweet and all have very distinctive personalities. they are fun to watch and playful too. i would also suggest dumbo rats.. because in my experience with regular fancy rats and dumbo rats the dumbos seem to be a bit more social with humans... not that all rats aren't.. if you raise them right... and i have another suggestion. if you do get a rat try and get two because they are very social and like to play with each other and have a friend.. oh and even though they are small you should still do some research before you get them. there is a lot to know about them and it helps when taking care of them correctly and making sure they have the longest happiest life possible
Rats are by far the best. Throw away all those steriotypes of dirtyness and viciousness. They are incredibly smart and actually have the capacity to love their owners, like dogs or cats. Their intelligence has actually been closely comapred to that of a dog. They can both run around and be silly, as well as cuddle up on your lap or shoulder.
a rat is the most great rodent i have evr owned because they do not bite and they love to cuddle and they soooo love to be on your shoulder but they have to be in paris or groups but that is up tp you and from a scale from 1 - 10 i would give them a exact 10 so have fun and i garrentee it to thanks i hoped i helped!
A guinea pig hands down...I use to have one and he was just so affectionate and when I'd get out of the shower he'd whistle at me and it was so cute...plus they can be potty trained and on top of everything they love to cuddle and show you that they need you, which I think is adorable. Also if you let them just roam around when they run you might fall over laughing...honestly!!!
I think mice are the best to own, as you probably already know. They are more gentle than other rodents, and usually not as hyper or jumpy. Though, they are the only of all my rodents that like to kick bedding out of the cage.
I think if you want somethin small a rat or hamster is good but i love guinea pigs they love to eat veggies , its cute they love to run around it reminds me of my dog hope this helps p.s. i have had a hamster b4 and he was not nice fun or anything.........
i would say guinea pigs because they are alot of fun.. you can do alot of stuff with them like give them a bath or just sit and watch TV with it in your hands. hamsters are pretty cool to but i still think guinea pigs are better
a guinea pig i had one once and i loved her they can are like baby piggies when they are full grown so they end up being like a small dog

but thay are sooooo sweet i would trade 20 mice and 3 hamsters anyday for it

even though u prolly love your pets i'm not saying get rid of them %26lt;3
Rats are the best! Smart, clean, friendly and social - they love being held and being petted, and you can train them to do fun tricks :)
Get a rat i have one and she is great her name is sally she is very loving smart and clean. you can even teach them tricks. Rat for sure
hamsters are furry cute and friendly. If you get one, I would suggest getting an adult longhair hamster. They usually bite less than the babies do and they appear not to smell as much.

:)
try rats. it is pretty fun id would know i have one. They are really fun to play with. but the cage has to be at least three times as big as the rat itself.
WELL, THEY ARE NOT EXACTLY RODENTS, BUT HEDGEHOGS ALL THE WAY!

CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION?
