What type of rodent should i get ?!?

Ok any where from a ferret to a hamsterWhat type of rodent should i get ?!?
ok.. first.. :-D !!! rodents are incredibl;y lovable, curious pets and you will have lots of fun. now here's a list of what i reccomend:

a Syrian Hamster: they are the larger ones, usually called teddy bears, black bears, long/short hairs, goldens, fancys, and/or winter white. they are the simplest pet to care for, and happen to be my favorite. they must be kept alone.

some dwarf hamsters: i actually don't like them that much. i'm sorry to those who like them, but they are too bitey and hyper-active. they don't enjoybeing handled much, and you should have at least 2 (of the same sex)

a ferret: i have never owned one before. so i dunno. they look adorable though :-)

a rat: very cute, rarely bite, and are trainable. they are only a little bit more difficult to care for than a hamster, and can be trained to sit, come when called, and a few other tricks.

guinea pigs: its best to get 2. i used to own a breeding pair, and more recnetly had a pair of shleter-adoptees. from what i remember, they are ok alone, and pairs are good too (again, same sex, though i recommend girl and girl, less of a chance of a fight)

a chinchilla: cute lil guys and girls. but the live 15-20 years, so prepare for a long-term commitment. i recommend a shelter here, though be careful if you get a girl. my sweetie, Persephone, was pregnant. she had twins :-) back to the subject, these are the most difficult. they will need once-a-week dust baths (which are super ridiculous to watch... :-) ) and once-a-week outing. its best if you allow them to hop around in a room for at least 30 minutes, keep an eye on them though, they can slide trough ridiculously small cracks. What type of rodent should i get ?!?
Get a syrian hamster there cute loveable and soft they are so cute when they eat and you can feed them lettuce and fruits they also look cute when they're sleeping aside from being cute they have a curious nature but are starteled easialy and pause for a couple of seconds i've also heard you can teach them tricks there lovable and worth the 100 $
RATS!! :D

-They are smart and are the smartest rodents (except for maybe squirrels)

-They are the sweetest

-They have personalities! (unlike hamsters and such!)

-They are low matenence if they have a friend with them

-Their hands are the cutest!

-They have a bad reputation, so i am simpathetic for them

-They are so interesting to watch

-I have had Hamsters, Gerbils, Guinea pigs, Ferrits, Bunnys, lizards, Mice, Chinchillas, cats, dogs, and a groundhog. and BY FAR the rats are the best!

-They can learn tricks!

-They love human companions (';To the world we are one, to rats we are the world';- world rat day)

-They can learn your routine and can wait for you infront of their cage door

-They are not expensive

-They are very unique!

Rats are great because 45 minutes with them is a fine amount of attention! I am 14 year old girl with a very paced schedual and it works out just fine. Especialy if they have a buddy!!

oh my gosh! i saw this question and just had to answer well i just got two guinea pigs and they are so awsome! they are very smart and nice.i know that you might be thinking about getting a hamster but i say no to that because they are known to bite! i had one once and it always bit me! but guinea pigs are known not to bite ever unless you really realy tick them off! they are the sweetest things especially when they are with another guinea pig!
well id consider a ferret they are funny playful and sweet but they are expensive stinky and contain lots of care and patience

id get a rat

they are sweet smart affectionate and fun they love to lick not bite and sit on ur shoulder when u walk

but u need to get a big cage since they need lots of space. and u need to get 2 if ur gone all day cuz they get real attached to their owner and if ur gone theyll get lonely and they r very sociable

depends on how much time patience and money u have!

good luck

hope i helped :)

RAT! They are the most social and friendliest and least stinky of all rodents!
