Can a feline rodent ulcer be transferred from one cat to another especially from an adult to a kitten?

Now I am no expert on the subject, but when you consider that the ulcer is caused by some form of bacteria or virus, ( Don`t know if any fungus or mold can be a contributing factor ), anyway there seem to be no reason to believe that something that will attack one cat won`t attack another unless the other cat has a better immune system, maybe all the pathogen that cause the ulcer need is a tiny scratch so it can get past the protective layer of skin.

Some types of honey have been very helpful in com-batting ulcers on humans, and if you are game you could try to apply a dab of Manuka or similar honey on the ulcer, perhaps mix in a tiny amount of iodine, if you do try that you will need to stop the cat from licking it. Anyway run the idea past your local vet, or seek further advice on the internet.
