How do i get my mom to get me a rodent please tell me the most active in the day the easily cared for?

Gerbils make great pets! They are very smart and awake during the day. The are easy to care for and easy to train. How do i get my mom to get me a rodent please tell me the most active in the day the easily cared for?
Well really i just learned that rats ( Female) is 1 of the cleanest house rodents, and that they are easily taken care of. They can be cheap and are loving creatures (They can lick you hand but not sure that they will do that all the time...). They are active at night though, but do not need an exercise wheel. It is true that you can buy them cheap but they do need a larger cage. You may know that hamsters can have a smaller- medium sized cage (27' 18' 16') and get a larger sized cage, maybe a large for a 1 story, medium for 2 and small for 3. ( Trust me this will be expensive!)

Hope I helped! How do i get my mom to get me a rodent please tell me the most active in the day the easily cared for?
well my hamster died today but you can tell her you want it every day like i did tell her you would pay half put pics of them all around the house and put tips bout them on her robe or t.v or desk or any place she would look and write a five page essay on them and write notes like please can i get one or i really want one and give 3 of those notes to her each day and that is how i got my hamster
You can tell her the benefits of having a pet. They can cure depression, stabilize blood pressure, and can actually boost your immune system! Make sure that you tell your parents that you are the one who will take all the responsibility for your pet.

Well, mostly all rodents are nocturnal. I own two pet rats, who have adjusted to human schedule pretty well and are easy to care for! However, no matter how well a rodent adjusts to human schedule, they will be active at nighttime as well. Most rodents are very easy to care for, but speaking from experience, a rat cage only needs to be taken and cleaned once a week and they're very social! Try to get your pet as a baby, so you bond faster.
They are rarely active in the daytime. Hamsters, which i have one, Michigan Fluffy, loooooove to ride their wheel ALL NIGHT LONG, so when i want to sleep, i just take the wheel down. I hate when he starts chewing on the bars of the cage. He isnt hard to care for, but your mom probly wouldnt like the bedding coming out of the edge of the cage. I solved that problem with my hamster. I put the cage inside a clear long underbed plastic storage container, so any of the bedding that comes out, gets into the container, not all over the floor. when i clean out the cage to change the bedding, i take it outside on the grass. I put the hamster into his ball while i am doing that and let him chase the cats around the house. I put the bedding in a plastic bag, tie it up and put it ouside in the garbage. It does get to smelling like ammonia if you dont change it at least once a month or every twe weeks depending upon the hamster. Maybe she is afraid you wont take responsibility for it...and that she will have to take care of the cage etc. What do you think? How old are you? You do have to make sure and feed it every day, and give fresh water esp inthis hot weather. You might get bored with it after awhle. I bought my hamster with cage and everything i needed for $25 off someone on craigslist. Maybe she is concerned about the cost. You do have to replenish his food obviously and i feed mine just a tiny bit of lettuce or celery leaf once in awhile also. They arent as much fun as a cat or dog for sure. I have fish tanks and they are fun too. I had a guinea pig once but my dog ate it when the kids let it out of the cage. guinea pigs some of them, will let you hold them more. Have you talked to her about one of those? Find out what her objections are.....maybe this isnt the right time for you to get a rodent. I am 63 and i just have one now, andi am attached to him. He does try to get out of the cage though and that is a worry. Hope it goes good for you, remember mom loves you. Let us know what happens. You could have her talk to a parent of a friend of yors who has one of these pets? what do you think of that idea?
my mum just let me get a rat, they are the cleenest rodent and they are only as clean as their home, they make great pets and are VERY easy to look after! they are nocturnal but are still very active during the day. the white ones are calm, the black ones are active and the brown ones take ages to settle down and get used to you. good luck and tell your mum that i think you should get a rat, there is NOTHING bad aboout them at all! hope this helps, by
hmm... tell her you`ll take care of it. Beg her ans well. That`s how I gt mt rabbit because I told my mom that I will take care of it.
well i was in your shoes but with my dad! mum likes rats so it was easy, to persuade her. with dad i told him all the advantages of me getting one some of these were:

responsibility

a friend

maturity

money management(i have to pay for EVERYTHING!)

something to do

etc..

maybe you could use some of these reasons!

hope i helped %26lt;3
