What do rodent fights look like?

I was thinking of getting a small rodent because I love the little guys. But I've only ever had a cat. So I need a heads up as to what to expect if pair housing doesn't go as planned.What do rodent fights look like?
Most rodents ';play fight'; as part of their normal behavior. If you get males there may well be a dominant one and submissive one. Once their roles are defined they should get along fine. In a true fight you would see rats, mice or other rodents not yielding to one another but becoming more aggressive. There is a saying in the pet rat world, ';No blood, no foul.';

I have 6 adult rats, 2 boys and 4 girls. I adopted them all at the same age, 5 weeks. They have all bonded well and after some initial scrabbling, the males settled down and are very happy. Females were no problem from the beginning.

It's rare to get a young pair that doesn't adjust. Adults have a much harder time adjusting to each other. Their patterns are already set and they resist change.What do rodent fights look like?
Well if your planning to get more than one, I would suggest they should be born in the same litter and be in the same cage when you buy them. That way they would be less likely to fight. And as for the rodent fight if you want to see one go to youtube.com and type in hamster fight.. just be aware that they sometimes do play fight.
