I'm kinda guessing but I would say about 12-14 ounces for main course, little mice for snacks.
you cannot control the growth of your snake by feeding it smaller food. What you will end up doing is having an unhealthy, hungry snake that will start to bite you. If you want a boa in the 4-5 ft range, get a smaller species than the columbian. At 4-5 ft, the snake should be eatting med rats.
I would try a small rat from your local pet store.
